Title: [SOLVED} 2nd Joomla site effected by changes in the 1st

Have two sites - took a bit of messing around with the redirect but they both work.

See installation thread and help from Mary.

Now the problem is that any changes made to the first site through the administrator are also transferred to the second site.

Also any changes made to the second site through the administrator are not saved.

The easiest solution may be to reinstall the 2nd site but.. not sure if this will work because it may overwrite the 1st site's database.

Any ideas?

Where are the changes saved?


[SOLVED 13-06-08]

Created database (myhostname2) and user (myhostname2user) in mysql using phpmyadmin

reinstalled manually using tar.gz download in /opy/myhostname2

*note instructions during installation relating to the config file that needs to be copied from the installation page!

All working.. both sites saving and editable
