Hi
Is there a way to change (customize) the Splash Screen at bootup?
-
Haven't tried this myself, but take a look at the grub.conf file in the /boot/grub directory. But be very careful when editing this file! I'm not sure if the changes you make in your grub.conf are retained when upgrading your server. Search for "grub splash screen" on Google to find out what kind of image file you can use.

Thanx, got it working. An update does overwrite the changes. but ill get around that.

Than you should make the changes according to the template engine outlined in the SME Server Developers Guide linked in the wiki, the grub.conf file is also templates as ./boot/grub/grub.conf

already did that, thanx.
