Title: hylafax external modem

Hi,

Who does have a hylafax installation with an external modem.
I'm looking around for a good modem but i'm not sure to pick one.

hopfully i get some tips what to buy / what not to buy.

I have several with U.S. Robotics and the Multitech ZBA, this last one being my favorite.
Don't buy the U.S. Robotics sportster model, couldn't get it to work.

I too have been using US Robotics external as well for quite a few years. works flawlessly.

+1 for the US Robotics ones. I had one running here before I figured out how to make the Digium card do the same job.

I have Multitech modems in a few locations. Work flawlessly.
