Title: bookshelf for e-smith

hi guys, (and gals)

  It has been a long time sense I have participated/commented on anything to do with sme server, but I have had a server running ever sence e-smith 3.0. I have enjoyed much of the added functionality you have added to my server.

Now then, for give me father for i have sined, I have partaken of the apple and purchased an iphone.

I would like to see a guide or even a package or hell i would use a script that would install bookshelf server http://www.iphonebookshelf.com (http://www.iphonebookshelf.com) for bookshelf in an ibay. Bookshelf is a book server that lets you read books on your iphone In a few different formats and the author is working on a few more, and you have to load these books from the bookshelf server on your computer. Now if we could load the Bookshelf server in an Ibay we could load books anywhere in the world that the iphone has anytime of internet connection ether wifi or edge or 3g.

any way I just posted this on the off chance this might interest someone enough to set it up.

Judging from the installation instructions (http://www.iphonebookshelf.com/quickstart.php) you will have a hard time as configuration relies on a graphical shell (windowslike environment) since this is unavailable on SME Server you will need to do some heavy customization to get this running on SME Server.

The Java Virtual Machine also needs some work, but I think that might be possible as this has been done for other installations as well, not sure if there is a bonjout version for CentOS but judiging from the Quickstart info you are able to do without.

actualy if you read just a little farther down there is a comand line server that has been set up to work on linux, how ever there are still other hurdles to get it set up. I may try to set it up on my test server this weekend.

I fail to see it on the quickstart page, to which I provided the link :-(, could you post a link to the information you are referring to?
