Hey all, I've been having mail trouble with my client being able to send email to a local parish school board. When they send emails to XXXXXXXX@lpssonline.com it always bounces back and says "Remote host said: 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable." I'm thinking that the server on the parish's side is acting up or is it mine?? Here is an example error message:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ccserver.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

It looks like
transportation1
is not a valid email address @lpssonline.com.
Can you get a user from lpssonline.com to send you an e-mail and then reply to it?

The server on the parish's side could be "acting up" but it's more likely that you are just using an incorrect email address.
Nothing to do with SME server in either case.

Thanks guys, that is exactly what I've been thinking. I've been getting angry calls saying that it's our email server and I just wanted some verification that it wasn't our server. Well I'll call up my client and tell her to get a user email instead of a group email.
Thanks :-)
