Title: Intercom with voip-functionality

Hi All,

I am searching a cheap Intercom with voip-functionality for my house, it should have the possibility to open the door remotely.

I dont know if there is a product on the market ? Does anybody know something about that ?

Can i do that with sail ?

If such a thing exists and it is SIP compliant, then you can reference it from SAIL.  I saw a beta-release Intercom/Door-opener unit from Siemens (for use with their SIP/DECT phones) about a month ago at their UK distributors.  They aren't available in UK yet but you may find them in Germany already.

A lot of our customers use traditional analogue door openers and Intercoms by attaching them to an Analogue FXS port or gateway.  They are cheap and easy to get hold of.

Yes, there is a product called HC450 from Siemens that should work with my C470IP Phone.

I will get them in the next days ...
