I'm looking at using hylafax and want to see what the forum feels about this program. It will be used as the primary fax machine with automatic distribution of the fax to the proper employee. Is anyone using it? What are the pros and cons to this program?
Thanks in advance for any response.

Using it for several years now (business with approx 30 people). Not with specific delivery tho. It delivers to the frontdesk with multiple people in that group.
Pros : Stable
Cons : Doesn't communicate always perfect with some specific fax machines (can also be modem problem tho)

Works very well for a few of my clients who needs it for years. All incoming faxes are delivered to the single mailbox and checked by multiple people. Sending from any workstation in the office.
Very good results with external Multitech modems.

It is simply the best as far as I am concerned. Been using it for years without any problems. Don't try an internal modem, they tend not to work as well as an external.

How do you intend to distinguish what fax will be routed to which employee?

I use it in many different setups, I only use Multitech modems (Internal and Externals).
You can't have auto delivery to each person, as only the assigned group or user gets it.
Thanks,
