Title: How do I change Roots email address

my server domain is smeserver.local

If I send email it goes out as root@smeserver.local

This is being rejected at several of my domains - although googlemail receives it ok

I have added  myrealdomain.com in the Server Manager but how do I set roots default?

You don't say how you are sending the mail. Here is possibly a little info that will help.

I'm using Mutt

mutt 14@mydomain.com -a /home/mylog.txt -s "SMEServer Log"   < dev/null

Then you need to learn how to set the 'from' address in mutt.
