Hi all,
Despite reading bug No. 3457 and info here I can't get a UPs to work with one of my servers..[root@pluto ~]# config show nut
nut=service
MasterPass=798384915195988
Model=usbhid-ups

status=enabled
[root@pluto ~]# rpm -q nut
nut-2.2.0-3.3.el4
[root@pluto ~]# rpm -q nut-client
nut-client-2.2.0-3.3.el4
[root@pluto ~]# lsusb

Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

Error: Driver not connected

UPS type is APC Back-UPS SC
Can anyone help please?

Google shows it as
Smart UPS SC
therefore the driver might/could be
apcsmart
Try
config setprop nut Model apcsmart
signal-event post-upgrade
signal-event reboot

Thanks for the reply,
That didn't work. I'm sure I had one of these working with a previous version of SME. I just plugged it in and away it went.
The UPS is this one...
