Title: No website updates at E-smith.org?
Post by: Tom on May 09, 2002, 11:20:18 PM
The website at www.e-smith.org does not seem to have been updated for a VERY long time - it still has "news" of an impending move on 25 March !!!

What (if anything) is going on?

Nothing has presented a need to produce an update for production
servers. We like to consider this a good thing. :-)

On the development side, alpha releases of SME Server 5.5 are public now,
as announced on devinfo:

We expect to produce a beta release of 5.5 soon.

Cheers,

Could you tell us when you expect to produce that release ?
Because i know that _many_ people is waiting for it, as (for exemple) we can read it in a Brandon Friedman's message on devinfo (cf. [e-smith-devinfo] SME 5.5 Status).

I hope you will soon tell us more about it.

Regards.
