Title: Command Line Configuration Update

Have any of the gurus monitoring this list put together a document describing how to get e-smith to update its configuration from the command line.

For example if I update a template, how do I get e-smith to recognise this, and rebuild the associated config file. Without rebooting etc. I guess I am asking if anyone has documented the command line tools that are specific to e-smith.

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/fetchmail
expands /etc/fetchmail

/sbin/e-smith/db  gives a helpfull msg

cat /home/e-smith/configuration
                           accounts

shows you some of the db values


and that's about all the help you'll usually get ;-)
