Title: Hosting a Blog
Post by: jock on November 01, 2008, 11:59:55 PM
I am building a website for a group of graduates who don't want to be on facebook. One theme was to be able to be updated on what is going on in with their fellow grads. I have thought of setting it up with a form and then posting the information myself but thought if someone could direct me to some information on hosting a blog on an sme server it would be helpful. I have done a google search and couldn't find anything of help.

Thanks for any information.

Have you checked out Elgg (http://elgg.org/)? It's a free social networking site creator.

It unfortunately won't run on SME Server 7.x, as it requires PHP5 and MySQL 5, but the thought is still good :-)
