Hi All,
Is there any way to get my SME to actually delete mail on the domain ISP popbox that is deemed 'bad' ?
I see alot of 'Refused Delivery' in the logs and this is often followed by timeouts and no further mail comes in.
If I use popcorn and clear the crap, SME starts pulling mail again.
Any advice appreciated!

Hi All,

This is an interesting one. SME is rejecting those email messages from your isp that contain dangerous content, which it should be doing. You have 2 options:
1. Disable all of the content filtering on SME, accept everything from your ISP, then deal with what you get in SME. This is how we used to do things in SME 6 and less, so there are very workable solutions.
2. Do some research on fetchmail and see what other people are doing with email containing harmful content. I've never used fetchmail, so am not sure if it contains the logic to do more than just retrieve mail from an existing mailbox.
My guess is you are going to need to do a bit of legwork and research on your own to get a solution. Do some reading and post back what you find. I think this will help get more feedback and your problem solved.
