I added a 1TB drive on a pci sata card. Moved our Ibay over to it. Will this backup selection back it up.

If the 1tb drive is on /mnt/tracy, then probably not. Either mount /dev/sdg1 on /home/e-smith/files/ibays/[ibayname] or create a custom template to include /mnt/tracy.

You are correct, I got the email this morning after the 3am backup and it did not backup all. I added /mnt/tracy and am redoing the backup now. Thanks, Tracy.

And this is what I got back this morning.
Connecting /mnt/dar2/pdservback to //dave/ServerBackup Expanding /etc/dar2/pdservback template Creating /mnt/dar2/pdservback/shpdserver.shpd.local/pdservback/db.zip
Expiring old backups
Executing pre-backup event
Verbose logging is on
Performing pdservback backup
No terminal found for user interaction. All questions will be assumed a negative answer (less destructive choice), which most of the time will abort the program.
Parse error on command line (or included files): Cannot add an absolute path
I just added in /mnt/tracy to the top line for files to be included. Should I have added in /mnt/tracy/*

What does your custom template look like?

No. Both /mnt/tracy & /mnt/tracy/* begin as an absolute path. Enter: mnt/tracy

OK I changed it from /mnt/tracy to mnt/tracy thanks for the help. I will know tomorrow morning when I check my email.

Check this out. Not sure why it is doing this.

Thank you, I got the email from DAR this morning - all of the officers Z drives and the new mnt/tracy police Ibay is on the backup now. I can breath easier now. The server is the only place they are allowed to keep reports on. Thanks again. Tracy
Oh and yes I know that backing up a 1tb drive to an 150 gb external usb drive is only going to last for so long but I can upgrade that usb drive easily some day. T.
