I need Clam to scan these areas.
I typed in: config setprop clamav FilesystemScanFilesystems /home/e-smith/files,/opt,/mnt/tracy then signal-event clamav-update
and got this back this morning.
WARNING: Can't access file /home/e-smith/files,/opt,/mnt/tracy
----------- SCAN SUMMARY -----------
Known viruses: 461414
Engine version: 0.93
Scanned directories: 0
Scanned files: 0
Infected files: 0
Data scanned: 0.00 MB
Time: 12.615 sec (0 m 12 s)
I have changed it to config setprop clamav FilesystemScanFilesystems /home/e-smith/files, /opt, mnt/tracy
then signal-event clamav-update
The mnt/tracy is a hard drive on a separate sata pci card with an ibay.
Am I on track or do you see something still wrong? Thanks, T

When I look in the appropriate code (/sbin/e-smith/smeserver-clamscan) it seems that you cannot add multiple file systems. You can separate exclude paths (FilesystemScanExclude) with "," but not systems.
So to do what you want I guess you would need to first include "/" and then exclude a lot of areas.
I think the doc on http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:Documentation:FAQ#Virus_Scanning is incorrect.

OK thanks I will give it a try and report back. When it does it's scan I think I only have one officer on duty so it should not be a bother to them.

This looks good to me.
Thanks for the help, this is using the /
