Dear translators:

From now on you have 20 hours to review and correct the translations before will be frozen.

I´d like to test an "preview" rpm... but cannot remember how to do it. Neither how often are they generated.

Could you tell me ?

Thanks

Jáder

On a testserver run the following commands:
Code: [Select]
yum update smeserver-locale* --enablerepo=smeupdates-testing
The process of applying the patch is irregularly and most likely it will be once a week tops.

Edit: fixed typo.
Edit2: removed smetest as this drags in other unrequired things

Last ones are of 07-Nov-2008 04:43.

On a testserver run the following commands:
Code: [Select]
yum update smeserver-locale* --enablerepo=smetest --enablerepo=smeudpates-testing
Which will lead you to a minor problem with some variables not translated correctly on a 7.3:
http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4759 (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4759)
Not to scare you off from testing, but to let you know and that you don't have to search for an explanation ;)

From now on you have 20 hours to review and correct the translations before will be frozen.
Why is that?

Thanks by fast answer.

I´ve done a manual upgrade of my translation (for some reason my smetest-updating repo isn´t working. Anyways... I´ll see those later).

I still an problem: (EDIT: I think it´s bug 4759!)
Some words  do not show in portuguese and I cannot find where to translate them.
Most of them are things like MODIFY / ADD / NEXT in buttons or whole columns like below (from useraccounts screen showing NO/YES/REMOVE:

ACCOUNT     Nome de usuário     Cliente com acesso VPN     ACTION
admin     Local Administrator          NO                                     MODIFY    Recompor senha
andreia    Andreia Castro               YES                                    MODIFY    Recompor senha    Deixar conta inativa    REMOVE

Any tips where to translate those ?

Thanks

Jáder
BTW: The translation freeze means a new release in on his way? (just curious!) ;)

It is smeupdates-testing and if you copied my command it might have been because I made a typo, which is fixed now.

No, not if you are more accurate on where you find them, but I suggest you do that in the bugtracker to keep things in the proper place.

It means a development freeze and a next step to a new release, but I think we will have a release candidate first.

Why is that?
Because to prepare for new releases you need to have deadlines and feature and code freezes.
