Title: Local LDAP addresses gone after upgrade to 7.4

I have been having an issue with my local ldap (global address book) not showing any addresses after upgrading to 7.4 from 7.3. I was wanting to see if this was something I did or if other people were having the sam issues. I took a look at the addressbooks missing post and was unsuccessfull in fixing my issue. Do I need to post a bug or am I missing something silly?

Each user has to go into their address book options and choose to have the local LDAP setup as their default to display. Is there a way to set this up so that it is done for everyone?

I don't know, but I suggest you launch a bug for that.

The template fragments are usually split up in sections, the base line is that you create a copy of the directory tree for that fragment (in /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/) similar to the one in the original template tree (/etc/e-smith/templates/). You copy the original fragment there and make the modifications to this copy.

After making the modifications you can expand (regenerate) the configuration file and most of the times you need to reload the services that are affected by the file (for instance when they are run as a deamon on the server).

You can read much more on the template system in the SME Server Development Guide that is linked from the wiki.
