HI
My external network card refuses to talk to the outside world.
I have done evereything but to no avial.
Anybody had simmilar problems ?
Internal works like a charm.

Yes I had the similar problem and the mistake was that one etxernal network card was broken! Try and check them!
Anather problem in conf tray to change the ethernet tracing.

How are you connecting to the internet. ADSL or Cable modem??.
I noticed that in an earlier post that you said you set up eth1 for your static IP address. You should be setting this up for your ADSL router or Cable modems gateway address.
e.g in my case, an asus ADSL modem/router the modem gateway address is 192.168.1.1 so I set the gateway eth port on the server to 192.168.1.2 and the gateway settings in the config to 192.168.1.2.
You will need to read the documention on the modem/router to find what the gateway address is and work from there.

Also,
one more other thing to check. I couldn't get mine working for the life of me until I remembered that my cable company needed my MAC address of my network card. Because this was a new network card, I couldn't pull a DHCP address.
