Title: upgrade asterisk install
Post by: versa on January 17, 2009, 01:33:24 AM
Hi all
Happy new year to everyone.

Q. whats the best way to upgrade my asterisk install ?

Code: [Select]
yum update zaptel --enablerepo=atrpms
yum update libpri  --enablerepo=atrpms
yum update asterisk --enablerepo=atrpms
yum update zaptel-kmdl-`uname -r` --enablerepo=atrpms
yum update asterisk-addons  --enablerepo=atrpms

or am I ranting yet again

I know the only way to update sail is to download the sail rpm update it locally

Will we ever see  the sail contrib in the contribs repo?

thanks in advance

That should do the trick. But if you have no problems, do you need to?

We will do a repo one of these days.  It's just hard to justify the work for a single rpm when we have so much functionality still to add :)

Best

@Selintra: why not add it to the SME contribs repo?
