Title: smeserver-learn - another question - can use wildcards ?
Post by: femc on January 26, 2009, 08:18:26 AM
When using the smeserver-learn. Is it possible to put into the LearnAsSpam and LearnInWL something like *@knownspammerdowmain.com or *@myfriendsdoman.com ?

witht he smeserver-wbl using wildcards is possible. Should I additionally install the smeserver-wbl in case the wildcards are not possible with smeserver-learn ? ( I am afraid that too many contribs for spam avoidance are screwing up the system ? - serverload is not an issue - i have a good machine )

thks for reply at http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,43151.0.html

we are drowning here in spam ....

Hi.

For the wildcard, you can use smeserver-wbl (it can works with smeserver-learn).

In fact, the Learn contribs is just there so that standard users may help classifying mails in spam, ham or whitelist, they just move real mails in the 3 special folders. As real mails won't contain wildcards, you cannot whitelist a whole domain with it.
