Title: backup log files

If I understand right Backup with Dar is now the backup program integrated into SMEServer 7.4. What I need to know is if there are log files that show the backup process from start to finish and if so where do I find them? I would be happy with any backup log files besides the ones sent to email.

It should be in /var/log/messages AFAIK.
