Title: how to do same text console
Post by: daniel klumpp on May 19, 2002, 02:51:16 AM
Hi,

I found e-smith text console very cool, and want to install it on my other linux machine, but i can't.
I try to use a such type /sbin/e-smith/console file that i do, but i can't be able to make it works.
I would like to know which package i must have in order to make it work.

See you soon.

The console application is written specifically for the SME distrobution.
Thus the only way you could make it work on another machine is to install SME on it.

(It relies upon the other components of SME to work. eg. Templating, E-Smith::DB)

Regards,
Luke

I'm ok that the menu was secially program for the SME server.

But i just want to make my menu with 3 links like reboot,halt,..

So i change the code of the console, but it doesn't work with an other machin.
It was perhaps the fonction screen, but i don't know which type of package can be this work.
