What is the best method / best practice to connect two SAIL boxes?

Thanks,

Welcome to the forums :)

What purpose is the connection for? Do you want them to act as a cluster? Or just two boxes at seperate sites that need to be linked together for inter-location communication?

If you are interested in clustering for failover, see this page (http://aelintra.com/docs/cgi-bin/view/Main/DocChapter2520).

Update: for inter-location communication, just use the SailToSail trunk definition as described here (http://aelintra.com/docs/cgi-bin/view/Main/DocChapter252).

Just remember to give the two sites different extension sets (e.g. 50XX for Office 1 and 60XX for Office 2) and make sure you set up the routes correctly.

Thanks for your assistance.   I was connecting two SAIL boxes in two different cities - works fantastic.

Thanks for the welcome as well!
