I am trying to get SME 8 beta going and using the instructions here,
http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server_8
I can neither upgrade my 7.4, nor can I download from the two US download sites provided. The yum upgrade reports "Error getting repository data for sme8os, repository not found" and the download of the ISO drops off after a couple of minutes.
Is this temporary? What is going on?

The link at the above page "A copy of the Beta3 CD image can be downloaded here" got me a good download. It is a download from the UK.

Is there a torrent for SME 8 Beta?
If there is I would gladly download it and seed it just in case.

No and AFAIK there is no need to as discussed on the Ottawa Linux Symposium in 2008: Issues in Linux Mirroring: Or, BitTorrent Considered Harmful. (http://ols.fedoraproject.org/OLS/Reprints-2008/hawley-reprint.pdf)
