I have some FC9 and FC10 systems that I want to have as browseable file servers in my SME domain.
Can they be added so that if an XP system browsed the domain, these servers and their shares would show?
I tried to search the forum here about this, but could not get a decent keyword list to the search function...

The forum search function has some idiosyncracies that have been mentioned and discussed previously.
The better way to use search is to NOT type something in the search field at the top of this page. That basic search function in many cases will not find a meaningful result as the search pattern by default is limited.
Instead click on the magnifying glass icon next to the search field, and then do an "advanced" search. You will have much better results.
You may still need to try different search criteria though. Start generally ie with one keyword, and then if nothing useful shows up get more specific with multiple keywords.
eg
samba domain
found lots of hits

Since you woul need Samba for that your best bet is the Samba howto collection to setup Samba on your Fedora system: http://us3.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/
