Hi,
I'm thinking of using e-smith. Currently I am using a stock RH7.2 as a server, but like the look and ease of e-smith.
Currently I have 3 email accounts that I poll using fetchmail
Two are just standard pop accounts, and one is a multidrop.
E-smith seems to only support one pop. I have seen an add on RPM that gives the ability to manage multiple pop's but it costs $95 which is more than I want to pay for a home set up.
Is it possible to just use my fetchmailrc and ftp it to the appropriate directory in e-smith? Is there another solution?
TIA
Craig

Hi Craig,
I use Vincent's Fetchmail generator for this purpose very successfully. You can find it here :-

It should be under 'Fetchmail Users' in Server Manager (or did Vincent rename it in his new version) ?

Hi Alec,
I just installed the new version and Vincent has changed the server manager option name to 'Mails Users' instead of 'Fetchmail Users'. On my system, it is located 3 entries below 'User Accounts' in E-Smith Manager.
If you can't find it, I'll assume you did not install it correctly and suggest that you reinstall it.
