Title: SME Server possible on a SATA drive

The documentation specifies an IDE drive for installation under the requirements. Will a SATA drive work??

Yes SME supports SATA drives. While no hardware is guaranteed SATA is fully supported.

Where does it state that? Please provide a pointer to it so we can update it if the information is not complete/incorrect. TIA.

Here, i don't see any mention of a SATA drive. Under hardware requirements for hard drive......

Perhaps it deserves an update indeed, but you now IDE = ATA and SATA is serial ATA, a impoved ATA and the successor of P(arallel)ATA?
