Title: Access to PC behind SME server
Post by: Taivo on May 24, 2002, 02:55:17 AM
Hi

Is this possible for distant users (not from the local network) to access a PC which uses SME Server as a gateway (with DHCP) to the Internet.

Two specific users want to do things like sharing files with Windows Messanger and playing games via the Internet. One of these users is connected to the Internet directly (without any kind of special gateway such as the SME Server), while the other is behind the SME Server and using DHCP.

The user behind the SME Server can of course connect to the other PC but there is no possibility of opposite connection. How could this problem be overcome?

Thanks
