Title: drive space

when I do "df" in a console window it shows 2 LVMs in the "main". one has 11.9GB and the other shows 63GB. the 63 gb is unused and we need the space but are not getting it.

How can I expand the 11.9 or make use of the 63gb not used??

I have researched the howto's and documentation and if I have seen the answer I am not smart enough to know it
Please Help, this is a virtual machine running in Windows XP with VMWare. By the way it has been great for the last 3 years.

What you are describing isn't making sense.  Paste the output from "df" to this thread like this:

[root@sme1 ~]# df

Short history: This is a virtual server using VMWare Virtual Server 1.0.8. and operating in XPPro SP3. Below are all the findings I have been able to think to try. Any help would be appreciated.

result of "df"  at a root prompt [root@server01]
