how can i change the default computer description from Welcome to something i want ?

What context are we talking about? Where is the 'Welcome' you refer to?

in windows xp when you setup the workgroup name you can add a description of the computer to better identify it, in system properties under computer name you have .. computer description...full computer name ...workgroup..

in sme server we only have workgroup and computer name... therefor i dont why it's showing up Welcome or which file i have to edit to change it.

I'm not sure we understand what you mean.
Is it the computer name in your network computer list

Hmmm... that's not what it's supposed to say...

I would file a bug so we can figure out what has gone wrong.
