I have enabled secure pop and ssl for 3 remote laptop users (always behind a different ISP) to avoid them having to change smtp server settings.
It all works great when they are on the road, but not when they are in main office where server is.
Do I need to "How do I enable smtp authentication for users on the internal network" as per here:
http://wiki.contribs.org/Email#How_do_I_enable_smtp_authentication_for_users_on_the_internal_network
And if yes, will it affect the existing local users who just use IP of smeserver for pop/smtp
Thanks in advance

Yes and yes.

Yes and yes.
Thanks Charlie,
For the purpose I have described, is this the right approach for those 3 laptop users, or is there a better way?
Thank you in advance.
