Hi all, it's my first post, i'm planning to install SME Server in an office with 10 workstation and i wanted to install it on the Server computer in the object.
Any of you has experience about hardware compatibility?

Hi, thanks for your answer.
The problem is that in the statistics i read some Poweredge t105, but it's the model sold actually from Dell?
Anyone using this server ?

I see from here (http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/featuresdetails.aspx/pedge_t105?c=uk&l=en&s=bsd&cs=ukbsdt1&~lt=popup) that there's no certification for RH4.X (i.e Centos 4.X and SME 7.X) but only for RH5..
so it will work for sure with SME 8..
try to search with google, remembering that SME 7 is (in its core) a RH4
Ciao

I have a Dell T105 seems to be finr
2 X 500g hard drives set up about a year ago
Also have a HP Prolient ML 110
Both seem to work fine with 7.4

I'll thoroughly recommend T105 and T100, I am running SME on both without issue.

Thanks all, i will proceed.
