I have someone trying to send us an email which is blocked by SME and forwarded to admin due to it being a BCC recipeient rather than directly to the destination address. I have whitelisted the sender domain in question but still gets blocked. How can I allow this sender's BCC'ed email to come through without being forwarded to admin?

First you need to find out why is it being blocked. Reading your logs (from the panel you get more details) > qpsmtpd with the email in question as a filter.
Could it be a non-reverse DNS server, or a blacklist.

hi as I said according to the logs the only reason this particular email appears to have been blocked is because it was a BCC recipient and the actual recipient in to TO section of the header is someone else. if the sender sends as CC then we receive it fine. just need to know how I can turn of the sme from blocking this bcc

Please show us the lines from the error_log from which you conclude this as AFAIK SME Server can and does not do that. I suspect there is a different reason.

According to OP, the mail isn't blocked - it is delivered to the admin account.
My guess is that OP is using multidrop fetchmail, and hasn't configured an appropriate sort header.
