Title: backup to tape ??

I have set up sme server to backup to tape drive. It appears to be working but when i checked the log file it says that there is an io error and it dumps. It doesnt appear to have saved anything. Since this is a full backup of system and data it means i would have to do a full reinstall to find out if it has worked. I am currently doing data backup to cd so i dont lose it but ideally i would prefer not  to have to do this. HELP !

Try using the flexbackup how-to found at

http://www.myezserver.com/downloads/mitel/howto/flexbackup-howto.html

You'll be able to see if there are any files on the tape.
