DHCP
Log in to the console as admin and run "Configure this Server" and change / set up your dhcp option when you come to it.
http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:Documentation:Administration_Manual:Chapter5#Configuring_Your_DHCP_Server
There are also db commands for this although I have never used them.

mgb, as you've been told many times, you should really try to explain in plain english what you are trying to achieve..
if you want to enable/disable dhcp service or change the range, you have 2 ways:
- log in as admin and "reconfigure your server"..
- change the parameters via db commands
if you are trying to reserve an ip address, you can do it via server-manager, in the "hostname and adresses" panel

Hello!
Due to the multitude of complaints I've taken over the writing process from "MGB";
Now, what the said User's been looking for, is a utility, i.e a graphical tool, accessable from the "server-manager" to administer and master the DHCP service(server "end").
Now, as he recalls, there was such a device in 6.x versions of the Operating System, but with 7, he has hit dry-ground, trying to uncover it!
Any suggestions?
MGB is grateful for your attention,
Thanks.

unfortunately no, there's no such a contrib in SME 7.x
what kind of configuration do you need that can't be achieved via "hostname and adresses" web panel and/or via db commands?

Hi again, and with immense and immeasureable thanks for your quick reply!
Seeing as your response reject the possiblity of our finding the needed plugin in 7.x, one wonders where are those left for 6.x?
With regard to your inquiry, nothing in particular, but we were hoping to use the GUI manager for simplicity's sake!
Again,
Thank you!

I don't know, but IIRC dhcp manager contrib doesn't work on 7.x

It is very obvious English is a second language to this member. A bit of tolerance would be nice.

I know and I understand..
as you can see I gave him an answer.. and if you check OP posts, you'll see I'm not the one that find difficult to understand what he is asking.

We try to do our best at it, but if you have a look at previous posts and questions you might understand it a little bit better. I decided to ignore questions of this user as I had a hard time understanding his goals and mgb did not seem to understand my replies.
His latest reply seems to indicate that he can do better when asked IMHO.
