Title: A Quest, for the ameliorating of the SME Server!

Hello!
You will excuse, no doubt, should this post prove a bit tedious, but I'd like to tout your opinions about installing a GENERIC kernel on top of an SME installation;
Is this applicable? Is there any use for it?

Thanks for your prompt reply, And on the same note, I was to atone for mailing this answer with a small tardiness!
In response to your query, after some testing, we experienced some improvement in the scope of hardware detection and speed.
HD inspection proved much more rapid, and generated better results, all the more statisfying.
