Title: SARG does not show report
Post by: khphearun on June 12, 2009, 05:12:52 AM
Hi all,

I just removed my SAGR report and installed the one one as bellow

Code: [Select]
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-sarg

After installation, it does not show the report as what it even did.
I just shows the message as below:

Code: [Select]
Data not found
Your seeing this because either no data was found
or you have just updated the sarg rpm.

You can force an update with /usr/bin/sarg

right click, this frame, refresh

How to fix this?

Thanks in Advance for your help

Off topic for this forum, which concerns only software included in the base SME install.

This topic has been moved to the contribs section where it is more appropriate.

Have you tried running /usr/bin/sarg?

Thanks Sir,
Now it is working,

One more question,
on my report, it shows IP addres with other information, but what I want is IP address + Hostname and its information.

what should i do to do this?

Thanks in advance,

There is no easy way to do this.

If your sarg reports include the SME default computer names like "pc-00017" then you could get the actual computer names by creating DHCP lease reservations for each workstation in server-manager under Configuration::Hostnames and addresses.

I don't use it, but http://wiki.contribs.org/Dansguardian provides reports similar to the SARG reports that may use a more informative computer name.
