Title: moving from 7.3 to 7.4, backup types are different, how to overcome?

Hi

I'm trying to move from 7.3 on one box to 7.4 on another.

I thought it would be as easy as doing a backup from the 7.3 box and a restore on the fresh 7.4 box, but the backup procedure and types have changed.

What's the most painless way to achieve this?

Any pointers gratefully received!

Any reason you couldn't upgrade to 7.4 on the old box?

Yes.

I'd need to drive over to the other location, which is a faff.

So there's no clean way to do this?

I'll install 7.3 on the new box, restore backup, and then upgrade to 7.4 if that's what it takes.
