Title: PCI card panel error
Post by: del on June 23, 2009, 11:03:19 PM
I have installed astersik.i386 1.8-82.el4 and sail-2.3.1-13 and I opened server-manager after the reboot and clicked on the PCI Cards link and got this:
Quote
Software error:

Couldn't open DAHDI channels File - ending

For help, please send mail to the webmaster (admin), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.
What am I doing wrong? I don't have any cards installed anyhow but I thought I needed to run the PCI Cards first.

Try running dahdi_genconf from the command line.

Hi del

There is a fix in -14/15 for this issue but David's advice is spot on and will cure your problem.

On another note - I know you are based in Florida Del... We have a UK customer with a subsidiary just outside Fort Lauderdale.  Do you know any good SIP carriers who opereate in that area that we might use for Domestic US outbound call traffic?

Thanks in advance
