Title: dar backup and perform_restore (SME 8.x)

with workstation backup being part of the standard distribution and using 'dar' to create the archive, what is the idea when it comes to restoring a system from a workstation backup. the /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/esmith/console/perform_restore.pm script still expects to find smeserver.tgz. could anyone sched some light on this?

SME 8.0 is in beta test. Please report anything you find which doesn't work the way you expect it to via the Bug Tracker. Thanks.

The restore option at the console does not currently support the restore of dar files in both SME7 and SME8beta versions.
