We can block any extension files through veto files option.
i,e veto files = /*.mp3/
If we use this option on 'global' in /etc/samba/smb.conf,it will applicable to all the ibays.Same thing we can use for particular ibay to block mp3 files or any extension files.

Cool, I didn't know about this feature!

For future searchers, that is this option (http://us1.samba.org/samba/docs/man/manpages-3/smb.conf.5.html#VETOFILES), I assume deployed using a custom template.

This could be really useful in deleting all the desktop.ini files that MS create in user profiles!

I can't figure out what the custom template name should be - say to veto (block) mp3 files in an ibay. Anyone done this?

Cheers,
