Title: zarafa: calendar in thunderbird

i cant get the calendar function to work.
installed lightning-0.9-tb-win.xpi in thunderbird
then went to calender - new calendar - on the network - ticked CalDAV & location: http://serverIP:8089/caldav/

i followed the instructions found on the contribs but im getting the following error when i add the calendar:

What version of Zarafa are you using? CalDAV only works properly starting with Zarafa version 6.30. If you try to connect from outside you LAN, there possibly is a bug (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5413)

i'm using zarafa-6.30.2-rhel4-i386.tar.gz and I'm trying to access it form within my network.

i get a exclamation mark next to the calendar saying its "momentarily not available"

Have you also read the note at the beginning of the CalDAV/iCal paragraph, about bug #5410 ?!

hi,

yes i did read both bug reports...

ok, i got the user calendar working by changing the port from 8089 to 8088.
i'm still struggling with the public calendar.....

I know nothing about Zarafa but why does the error mention an SSL connection?
Try to point your web browser to that address and see what message the browser shows. Maybe it's a certificate that you need to accept?
