Title: Using SME with external LDAP server
Post by: rodantheman on September 18, 2009, 08:25:40 PM
Can SME be used as a BDC, or said another way, can it use another LDAP server for it's own authentication?    Or said another way, if you already had an existing LDAP server, could SME be used with it?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Keep in mind that samba/LDAP servers can only be a backup server for other samba/LDAP servers, AFAIK a mix between samba/LDAP and AD is still not possible.
