Title: E-Smith Manager Problems
Post by: Geoff on March 27, 2000, 12:30:14 PM
I also have problems with e-smith manager, I am using 4.0b6 and ever since I switched to gateway and server (dedicated) I have not been able to logon to e-smith manager from a computer within the local lan (192.168.1.*). I believe this is due to the permissions that are set on the directory, and IP masq. which makes the local IP adress look like the IP of the server. Do i need to edit the access in the template files. If so what do I do, or is there another way to fix this problem?

thanks

Try switching your connectors to the two NIC's! Probably you've connected your Lan to the "outside NIC"...

Yes, my gateway server and web server run perfectly.
