Hallo,

kann keine Email mehr versenden. Empfang klappt.

Bekomme diese Fehlermeldung :

Fetchmail version 1.3.5-01 was written by Vincent FILALI and Pascal SCHIRRMANN

Provider ist webhostone.
Wer kann mir helfen ?

Hallo hat jemand inzwischen dieses Problem gelöst??

Ich habe nämlich jetzt nach einem Update das gleiche Problem! smeserver 8.0rc5

Bitte um schnelle Hilfe

This means that smtp-auth-proxy was not able to authenticate with your ISP's mail server. Perhaps you have an incorrect username or password. There may be more details in the smtp-auth-proxy log file - and there will be more information there if you enable debug logging.

This has nothing to do with fetchmail - fetchmail is not involved with outbound mail delivery. That is also a false statement - fetchmail is written principally by Eric Raymond.

The Problem is that the system works fine for more than 3 months. On monday I do update smeserver 8.0beta4 to 8.0beta5. Since this update the authentification fails. But only with smtp. Fetchmail works fine with the same authentification. Directly authentification with Thunderbird to the ISP mailserver works fine too.
I've done a reset of the username and password in servermanager without success.
In which configuration files does qmail save username and password for the smtp access ?
