Title: [Solved] www.mydomain.com works - mydomain.com does not?!

Cheers,

I'm managing a webserver running 6.0 and I have a problem with the domain. www.mydomain.com works like a charm BUT http://mydomain.com times out when I try to access the website in any browser. The DNS is set up correctly - what gives?

We at least need some pointers to go from, obfuscating the domain will not help. Are you sure DNS settings are correct and have had their time to propagate over the net? DNS updates are not spread instantaneously but take some time to reach all dark crevasses of the internet, because of the distributed nature of the system.

Duh - turns out i couldn't access the URL since I was sitting within the network - fully accessible from the outside - sry!
