Title: email to unknown users
Post by: Kees Vonk on June 12, 2002, 07:52:16 PM
By default email to unknown users gets bounced by the SME server, you can change this in the server manager to be forwarded to the administrator. Is it however also possible to get this forwarded to another user? I have the situation where I don't want to deal with mail to unknown users, but I don't want the user who does to have access to the administrator account.

Any suggestions anyone?

Put the users email address in the forward admin email field.

If I would do that that user would get all administrative notices, and I would like the user to get only the mail for unknown users.

This might be answer to it.

Sitsuation is prety much same what i haved couple weeks ago. i wanted to forward some of my mail during my vacation to other address. i downloaded procmail and that's doing the job right now.

Install the user-manager contrib and use procmail rules.
