Title: how to add directory to FTP

Could you guys tell me how i can add a specific file or folder to FTP?

I need to update my word press installation and i am not able to because my word press root is not accessible via ftp.

How do i make my word press root available via ftp?

When i ftp into my server i can see ibays ect...

I have created a symbolic link to where the ftp files are located but i am not able to view the ~wordpress directory via ftp?

i installed it in an /OPT

well.. in that case, use filezilla client to connect via ssh and transfer your files..

BTW, you didn't say HOW did you install wordpress

Perhaps because you asked in the wrong forum. This forum concerns only software installed from the SME server install CDROM.
