Title: Recreating mysql root user?
Post by: kevincallan on December 12, 2009, 05:19:36 PM
I think I've really screwed up bad.  While using phpMyAdmin to configure a new user so I wouldn't being using root, I clicked a Go action to do what I thought was reload privledges.  It actually deleted all users instead.  I know, I should have been more careful and maybe I will suffer the consequences for not doing so.  However, is there any way to recover the root user once it has been deleted?  Thanks.

Sorry--I panicked.  I should have searched further as I have found the help in the docs.
