Title: Is HP Netserver E800 suitable for SME
Post by: Audrius on June 13, 2002, 10:51:39 PM
Hi,

I plan to buy HP Netserver E800: Pentium III 1000MHz, 256MB RAM, 18GB SCSI3 10K rpm HDD, HP SureStore 24i DDS-3 24GB SCSI Tape Drive. I have ~50 mail and ~10 Samba PDC users. Is this server good for me? Is that configuration enough? What do you think about HP Netservers?

More RAM wouldn't hurt, but you should have enough.  The rest of the configuration looks like it'd be plenty to handle what you're doing.  I'd want to make sure the SCSI controller is compatible, though.
